TReND in Nature!

We would like to thank Fanuel Muindi and Joseph Keller of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, Cambridge, USA) for their Correspondence letter to Nature, helping to spread the news of TReND activities around the world.

The article, Build Neuroscience Capacity in Africa, which will reach hundreds of thousands of researchers worldwide, was published on February 5th (Vol. 518, p.35) and calls for governments to invest more in science education to promote economic development in Africa. Dr Muindi has previously written for Nature, SciDev.Net and allAfrica on the topic of STEM education for developing nations.
